Integrate Coursera for Campus into your own Blackboard Course.

Faculty can seamlessly incorporate Coursera content into their Blackboard courses to enhance instruction and connect students with real-world skills.

Get Started with the Coursera/Blackboard integration

  1. Explore the careers, certifications, and industry partners available by logging into Coursera as an employee.

  2. Complete the Coursera/Blackboard Integration request form to provide the necessary information. Note that this request form needs to be submitted once for each ACC course requesting integration. Once completed, the integration will be available for all sections of that course for the current and future terms.

All currently enrolled ACC students and full-time and part-time employees are eligible for free Coursera access.

No. Access to Coursera is 100% free through this ACC partnership.

There’s no limit. You may enroll in as many courses or certificate programs as you’d like while your ACC affiliation is active.

Yes! Upon successful completion, you’ll receive an industry-recognized certificate you can share on your resume or LinkedIn.

Coursera is self-paced. You can start and finish on your schedule, though each certificate includes an estimated time to completion. You must maintain an active student or employee status to complete a certificate.

No additional approval is required. Just follow the enrollment instructions based on your ACC role (student, faculty, or staff) to access Coursera content.

Yes! Faculty are encouraged to explore ways to incorporate Coursera content into their teaching.

As a Student

Follow the steps outlined below to access Coursera for the first time, as an ACC Student:

  1. Visit the Student Sign-Up link
  2. Click Join, then select Log in with Austin Community College
  3. If you are not already logged in through Okta, you will be routed to enter your ACCeID and password
  4. Once verified, you can enroll in any available certificate program for free

Only users with an active student email address (@g.austincc.edu) can access free Coursera content. 

As an Employee

Follow the steps outlined below to access Coursera for the first time, as an ACC Staff or Faculty member:

  1. Visit the Faculty/Staff Sign-Up link
  2. Click Join, then select Log in with Austin Community College
  3. If you are not already logged in through Okta, you will be routed to enter your ACCeID and password
