{"id":13311,"date":"2026-01-07T22:39:58","date_gmt":"2026-01-07T22:39:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/instruction.austincc.edu\/cochrane\/office-of-articulation-university-relations\/"},"modified":"2026-02-23T01:33:53","modified_gmt":"2026-02-23T01:33:53","slug":"office-of-articulation-university-relations","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/instruction.austincc.edu\/cochrane\/purpose\/tled-offices\/office-of-articulation-university-relations\/","title":{"rendered":"Office Of Articulation University Relations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section aria-labelledby=\"articulation-title\"> <h2 id=\"articulation-title\">Office of Articulation &#038; University Relations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Austin Community College (ACC) recognizes that students benefit from inter-institutional articulation which facilitates the effective transfer of lower-division courses to upper-division institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Office of Articulation and University Relations provides accurate and timely information regarding articulation and transfer to college campuses\/centers, faculty, and staff through the appropriate channels for students\u2019 access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Work<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Establish and maintain positive working relationships and communications with college and university representatives<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Develop and maintain articulation agreements with bachelor\u2019s degree-granting colleges and universities<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Provide accurate and timely resources to faculty, staff, and students in relation to transfer and articulation<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with ACC and university provosts, deans, department chairs, and faculty to improve and expand course and program alignment for seamless transfer<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Provide training and workshops for faculty and staff on articulation and transfer issues<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Related Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/transfer-services\/university-information-transfer-guides-course-equivalencies\/\">University Information, Transfer Guides, and Course Equivalencies<\/a> \u2013 Access ACC\u2019s page with university-specific information, including transfer and equivalency guides. A complete list of all articulation agreements between ACC and university partners can also be found here.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/transfer-services\/transfer-essentials-workshops\/\">Preparing for Transfer<\/a> \u2013 Learn how to build a solid academic foundation at ACC, save on tuition, and prepare for seamless transfer to a four-year university.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/edtx.org\/program\/texas-transfer-alliance\/\">Texas Transfer Alliance<\/a> \u2013 The Texas Transfer Alliance is a one-year, state-wide project that brings together select two- and four-year institutions to improve transfer student success. ACC is paired with Texas State University, its largest transfer partner.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.austincc.edu\/college-and-high-school-relations\/memorandums-of-understanding-mous\/\">Articulated High School Courses and College Course Equivalents<\/a> \u2013 ACC partners with area public school districts to provide articulated courses for college credit.
