Our internship is unique to ACC. There is no other internship in the country like it.  After completing 33 credit hours in our Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing  program our students can enroll in (ABDR 2489 Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing Internship). This is usually the last class a student will take prior to graduation which will increase the students ability to land the perfect job. In the 16 week course the students can work in up to 5 of the top Collision Repair and Refinishing shops in the Austin area.

The student has the choice of determining if they would like to learn Auto body Repair or Refinishing at each shop. This brings great quality and worth to our students being able to work side by side with the technicians, and gaining trust and respect from each shop. This exponentially increases the job offering in the future of their career. Being able to show off the skills learned through the ACC Auto body program and work side by side with highly skilled technicians is why our students are strongly sought after in the profession. After all our students directly reflect our own reputation in the industry which we hold to the highest standard.
