Reporting summaries and action items from shared governance meetings are a critical part of these communications. Below is the process we\u2019ll follow to post-meeting highlights on the <a href=\"https:\/\/instruction.austincc.edu\/apte\/committee-updates\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"14418\">Committee Updates<\/a> page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdMYCBIqgcwie0eUbwU46xKcSE6ctIzvl9ofAaHe7IYA0h3Dw\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">submit Report<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide has-background is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" id=\"ec\" style=\"background-color:#f9f9fe\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><em>(Note that these documents are shared with Austin Community College as \u201cView\u201d access only.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><em> <\/em><strong>1. Prepare the following required details for your post:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Title of the Update&nbsp;\u2013 Think of this as the subject line of an email<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Your Update Blurb&nbsp;\u2013 Must be 500 characters or fewer. These are intended to be short and link to more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">If you\u2019re reporting about a shared governance meeting, think about what agenda items or discussions would be relevant to APTE members. Highlight those items and refer folks to review the minutes on the appropriate shared governance website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>2. Optional items:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Link to More Information&nbsp;\u2013 Include this as often as possible. Because your update is limited to 500 characters, you\u2019ll want to send the reader to more details such as the minutes, agenda, or website for the Shared Governance group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>3. Use&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/ax5a8k5yvxdR8sju7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this form<\/a>&nbsp;and submit your information. Do not share this form with anyone outside the APTE Executive Council. If someone attended a meeting as your proxy, please have them send these details to you via email.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">You will be asked to submit your name, the date of the entry, and a few identifying details that will help readers sort through the APTE news\/information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">You will always receive a copy of your responses via email and be given the option to go back and edit your responses if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">The APTE Communications Officer will receive a notification each time someone submits to the form and will review the content and edit for clarity as needed.&nbsp;<em>Information that you submit is subject to removal if deemed inappropriate<\/em><em>.<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">The information you submit will automatically be posted to the APTE website immediately. To delete the content entirely, contact the APTE Communications Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>4.
