For academic courses, you may be asked to take and score a passing grade on the reading, writing, and\/or math sections of the <a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.austincc.edu\/tsi-assessment\/\">Texas Success Initiative (TSI) test<\/a>. You can prepare for the TSI test by going to <a href=\"https:\/\/instruction.austincc.edu\/tsiprep\/\">TSI Assessment Preparation<\/a>. To request special approval based on ability to benefit, contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/offices.austincc.edu\/admissions-and-enrollment\/\">Admissions and Enrollment Office<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Are a high school student participating in the <a href=\"https:\/\/dualcredit.austincc.edu\/dual-credit-classes\/\">Dual Credit<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/dualcredit.austincc.edu\/dual-credit-classes\/early-college-high-school\/\">Early College High School<\/a> programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you do not meet any of the categories above, you may contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/offices\/admissions-and-records\/\">Admissions and Enrollment Office<\/a> at <a href=\"mailto:student.records@austincc.edu\" rel=\"noopener\">student.records@austincc.edu<\/a> to discuss any exceptional admissions standards that may apply.<\/p>\n<p>ACC also offers several Adult Education programs to give eligible adult learners the opportunity to take college credit courses for select in-demand careers.
