The Austin Community College (ACC) Asian American and Pacific Islander Cultural Center was established in the summer of 2022 as a result of efforts by the ACC students, faculty, and staff as well as local AAPI community advocates to rally for a space dedicated to supporting the needs of AAPI students and broadening awareness of the AAPI cultures and issues.

The vision of AAPI Cultural Center is to support AAPI students in their academic journey at ACC and create opportunities for the community throughout the district to learn about and engage with the AAPI heritage and cultures.
