For academic courses, you may be asked to take and score a passing grade on the reading, writing, and\/or math sections of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/admissions\/tsi-assessment\">Texas Success Initiative (TSI) test<\/a>. You can prepare for the TSI test by going to <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/tsiprep\/\">TSI Assessment Preparation<\/a>. To request special approval based on ability to benefit, visit any campus <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/students\/student-affairs\/hours\">Student Affairs office<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Are a high school student participating in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/academic-and-career-programs\/dual-credit-programs\/dual-credit-program\">Dual Credit<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/academic-and-career-programs\/dual-credit-programs\/early-college-high-school\">Early College High School<\/a> programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you do not meet any of the categories above, you may contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/offices\/admissions-and-records\">Admissions and Enrollment Office<\/a> at <a href=\"mailto:student.records@austincc.edu\" rel=\"noopener\">student.records@austincc.edu<\/a> to discuss any exceptional admissions standards that may apply.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You are eligible to attend Austin Community College (ACC) if you: Earned a high school diploma, certificate of high school completion, or High School Equivalent (HSE)\/GED certificate.
